International evaluation conference “Evaluation post 2020: evolution or revolution?“
The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Lithuania, responsible for the management and evaluation of the European Structural and Investment Funds, is organising evaluation capacities strengthening event on the 23rd – 24th of May 2019. The event aims to create an international forum for mutual learning, networking, and sharing of the best and most innovative evaluation practices.
The 8th biannual international evaluation conference „Evaluation post-2020: evolution or revolution?” will be held on the 23rd of May, 2019, 08:00 – 17:30. Speakers from the European Commission, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), as well as recognised evaluators from Lithuania and other countries will deliver stimulating presentations.
This year’s conference will focus on three main themes:

The future of evaluation

The evolution of data collection and analysis methods for evaluation

Evidence-based policy making and effectiveness of public interventions
A half-day seminar on the use of big data for monitoring and evaluation will be organised on the second day of the event (24th of May, 2019, 08:30 – 13:00). The seminar will be led by Dr Žilvinas Martinaitis and Dr Gustav Jakob Petersson.
